Cheap clothes, night market, awesome food, historical places? MELAKA is a perfect place for you Sir :)

This Christmas break, me and my 4 other friends went to... MALAYSIA!!! We went to Melaka and spent 4 days there. It was, really awesome =) Everything in Melaka was so cheap, like Omygod it was crazily cheap. The food was yummy and it has lots of interesting places to visit too :)

Hey.............. I know it is kinda weird if you see the dates of 3 posts that I posted. Yap exactly, it was all posted on the same day, haha. I am just trying to give all updates of what I have been doing this past 1 year, because I have been inactive in blogging for like more than a year :)

So, in October 2010 me and 9 other friends went to VIETNAM! Yes, another exploration of South East Asian countries! =) I went there with Rachel(Singaporean), Ludmila(Brazilian), Karla(Peruvian), Itamar(Mexican), Fran(Chilean), Jero(Uruguayan), Jordy(Costa Rican), Wyclife(Kenyan) and David(Namibian).
We went to Hanoi :) the first day we arrived, we got really scared caused there was a confusion about the hostel we stayed in. They moved us to another place for some reasons, and our Vietnamese friend was already waiting for us there, and she had to find our new hostel. But we met up with her in the end, so it was fine :) On the first day, we went to some temples and just walked around Hanoi till it was dark.

And then on the second day I think we just walked around Hanoi as usual, until we decided to go to Ha Long Bay. For your information, Halong Bay is now one of the 7 wonders in the world, and to be honest being there felt like being in a paradise. It was BEAUTIFUL :) We were sleeping on a boat for 2 days and 1 night, and during those 2 days we were enjoying the views and visited cave and also a floating village. Best experience ever! But before we went on a boat, one of us lost his passport :( And it was pretty bad, but thank god my Singaporean friend brought her friend, so we could contact people from Singapore to help us sorting out the problem. And when we got on the boat, everyone was happy again.

We also tried Vietnamese amazing food, like the green rice, the Vietnamese ice cream, the chicken rice, noodles etc. We were all crazy, we did peeing pose everywhere in Vietnam until the Vietnamese stared at us all the time. Haha. It was an amazing trip. Definitely one of best trips I have ever had ! :)

Best Kids in the World? Cambodia has them ! :)

Well this is kinda late to post about this, but anyways I wasn't active in blogging for like a year. So I will update all traveling experience that I did since last year.. =)

School had this trip to Cambodia and it included all people in my grade (FIB - stands for Foundation International Baccalaureate). Sooo, we went there and we did lots of services :)
We built 15 houses that were made by wood in like half day, it was a challenging work but we finished everything on that day, thank God :) We also taught in a school, we taught the kids English and we were just simply socialized with them to get to know them better

There was one thing I noticed about Cambodian kids, they are all really sweet ! Like, they were incredibly sweet. I was amazed. Each time we did something for them, those little mouths never stopped saying THANK YOU. And that was the best reward we got :) They really appreciated everything. Such grateful people.

We also bought lots of toys with us like balls on that day, so right after we were done, we just played with the kids, and all the villagers just sat around watching us. It was weird at first, but then their smiles made us felt more comfortable :)
Cambodia is an awesome place, it is very cultural and historical even though I did not get to visit the historical places because of the full schedule of services. But I definitely recommend you guys to visit it :) Cost of living is very cheap and the people are so friendly =D I am totally proud of being part of this South East Asia region. Hehehe

New School, New World, Awesome Experience :)

Being a scholar in a very awesome school is actually a very interesting thing and this is obviously something that I can be proud of. Well, I have never imagined before that I would study abroad and actually got into one of the best schools in the world. It is... uh crazy. Yeah CRAZY is definitely the right word to describe how I feel now, and how I felt when I found out that I was the "lucky" one from Indonesia that got this very amazing opportunity 

The school is called the United World College of South East Asia, and it is located in Singapore. I know it is not very far from my hometown, just 2 hours away... but Singapore is surprisingly very different that what I have thought before I came here. Singapore is a great city+country, and I guess it is the most developed one in South East Asia   I guess the British gave lots of influence to this country, for example it uses English as the primary language, and it just doesn't look like any other South East Asia countries.... It is just so, developed. #nuffsaid

The first time I came here, my english was as beautiful as a flower that got hit by a truck and fell into a river and then got stuck in a rock for a few days until it wilted  joking, I meant my English was really bad. Thank God both my parents actually speak English and they were the ones who taught me how to speak this International Language. I already could speak English, but of course with my awesome Indonesian accent. Haha I still have it sometimes though, but at least it is getting so much better, hahaha

So I have lived here in the boarding house which is located inside the school for 1 and a half year. And I will still have to study for one and half year till I graduate... hehehe. And my next destination is AMERICA.

Being in this school is like soo amazing, you can meet people from all over the world. More than 60 nationalities, man ! How cool that is. People that I thought I would never meet before are now right in front of me, and you can exchange cultures and stuff :) And being here makes me feel love my country more and I feel like I am more Indonesian than I used to be before  

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL. and this time right now is my best time of my life (: I am definitely one of the luckiest person in this world, and I really appreciate all the opportunities that I got xx

terkadang kami satu kota, tapi kami tetap ga bertemu juga...

hem...

kadang2 takdir memang bicara lain....

dan gktau kenapa... aku selalu narik kesimpulan....

mencari sahabat di dunia maya itu lebih mudah daripada di kehidupan nyata...

temen suka khianatin, temen suka bohong!

tapi sahabat2ku di dunia maya, mereka semua baik2 aja.... dan selalu pengertian...

sayang deh sma mereka semua....

tapi semuanya Jauh... jauuhhhh banget...

gamungkin aku bisa ketemu sama mereka...

rasanya sedih..

pngen aku cerita langsung sama mereka, tentang apapun..

tentang hal yang aku rasain...

tentang komedi, semuanya :)

tapi gabisa....

aku berharap aku bisa ketemu sama kalian suatu saat nanti... :)

siapa sih yang ga perna ngerasain yang namanya patah hati?

tua muda , semuanya pasti pernah...

ank kecil, remaja, orang tua..kakek , nenek... semuanya pasti udah pernah..

kecuali Bayi ya....

yang gaktau apa2..

dia kan masihhh sucii.. * sesuci hatikyuu ^^ *

hemm sebenarnya patah hati relatif lohh guys,,,,

sama kyk ganteng , ganteng itu relatif... * knpa jadi kebawa ke ganteng ? *

contohnya aja Raffi Ahmad, bagi aku dia ganteng krna dia itu humoris n asik...

terus Vidi... bagi aku dia ganteng karna suaranya n gayanya yang stylish abis...

jadi semuanya itu serba relatif...

patah hati juga kyk gitu...

patah hati itu bukan cuma krna cinta, bisa juga kita patah hati krna dibohongin, gak di percaya, di khianatin sahabat, dimarahin sama orangtua pdhal kita ngerasa ga bersalah..

iya kan?

tapi sekarang ini, aku pngen bagi cerita tentang patah hati mengenai C.I.N.T.A ... * dibaca dengan nada lagu CINTA dari de bagindas * hahha

aku sering ngalamin yang namanya patah hati, serasa hidup itu udah gak bisa dilanjutin lagi.. pengennya cuma marah2, diem, nangis... * LEBE !!!! *

tapi coba deh kita lebih mikirnya kedepan...

cowo itu ga cuma 1 Man... apa hanya karena 1 cowo hidup kita jadi ancur??

aduuu sayang banget kan.... ("-.-)

so aku mau bagi tips aja,

tentang hal2 yang aku lakuin waktu aku lagi patah hati...

1. Merenung

guys, yang dimaksud dengan merenung disini bukannya ngerenungin si biang kerok itu * cowo itu*

tapi disini itu ngerenungin semua yang pernah kita dan dia lakuin...

kita tuh mesti punya neraca * sok fisika* haha . maksudnya kita itu mesti punya timbangan, kita renungin, seberapa banyak kita nyakitin dia dan seberapa banyak kita nyakitin dia...

terus kita taruh hasilnya di timbangan khayalan kita itu..

mana yang lebih berat?

kalau lebih berat dia...

misalnya dia sering deket sama cewe lain, sering bohongin kita, sering ini sering itu..

sedangkan kita cuma sekali aja pernah ber2 sama cowo, itupun krna ngerjain tugas berpasangan...

nah... sekarang mikir deh... apa pantes kita mikirin n nangisin cowo yang udah bertubi-tubi nyakitin kita?

kita tuh punya otak guys, ga mungkin dong kita mau buang waktu demi dia..? aduh cape deh...

mendingan ngabisin waktu untuk yang lain...

sekarang kamu udah tau kan, bahwa kesalahan dia itu lebih berat...

kalau kesalahan dia lebih berat, sesegera mungkin kamu lupain dia... jangan pikirin lagi....

krna bener2 wasting time banget tau ga...

tapi kalo kamu lebih banyak kesalahannya, wajar kamu minta maaf atau sedih karna kamu nyesel...

tapi kalau dia sama sekali ga merasa bersalah sedangkan kesalahan dia udah banyak bgt..

udah deh... LUPAIN aja dari sekarang....

2. Ngumpul sama teman teman...

waktu kita lagi patah hati itu, kita tuh bener2 ngerasa sendiri, gak ada temen... gak ada orang yang kita sayang disamping kita, kita gak lagi nerima sms atau telpon dari dia...

kita bener2 SENDIRI...

tapi coba kamu pikir.....

apa kamu hidup sendiri di dunia ini? ngga kan??

kamu tuh punya temen guys...

TEMEN.... mereka itu bener2 satu2nya orang yang bisa ngibur kita.....

kenapa ga kamu ajak temen2 kamu ketemuan, ntar kalian ngenet bareng, karaokean bareng...

aku jamin kamu gak akan sedih waktu lagi sama mereka... kamu pasti ketawa2 terus, apalagi kalo temen kamu itu bikin joke yanng oke abis..

smpai rumah pun kamu pasti bakalan inget kejadian lucu sama temen2, jadi tanpa sadar, kesedihan kamu itu terbayar dengan sendirinya..... hehe...

3. dengerin lagu * yup bisa jadi salah satu alternatif hehe*

kamu pasti punya lagu kesukaan kan?

hehe....

kalo km lagi patah hati, dengerin deh lagu yang kamu suka... hidupin keras2 smpai kamu bisa nikmatin bener lagu itu..

tapi pengecualian buat lagu2 yang sedih ya! contohnya :

- justin bieber - that shouldd be me

- vierra - seandainya , dsb

tapi kamu dengerin deh laagu lagu yang agak ngebeat misalnya :

- craig david - insomnia

- lagunya justin bieber semuanya hehe

- rihanna - take a bow *ini bener2 lagu yang ngejatuhin cowo* , dsb

pkoknya lagu2 yang dijamin bisa bikin kamu goyang dan ngelupain kesedihan kamu guys... ehhe
